Hey guys, quick tip for those hitting token limits on the Arena with large codebases (Monorepos).

I've been experimenting with converting entire repositories into syntax-highlighted PDFs instead of pasting raw text. Since models like Gemini 3 Pro / Claude 4.6 process visual tokens differently than text tokens, this trick effectively compresses the input significantly.

I wrote a small open-source CLI tool (based on the DeepSeek-OCR concept) that packs code into a single PDF with Semantic Minimaps (UML graphs) to help the model navigate the structure.

The Result: I managed to feed a ~32k token repo into the multimodal chat using only ~19k visual tokens, and the models could still reason about the code structure surprisingly well.

If you are trying to test long-context capabilities without hitting the hard limits, this might help. I'm curious if anyone else has tried "Visual Encoding" for code tasks here?
