honestly that makes sense but if i had to choose between lmarena and yupp (in terms of survival), lmarena would probably last longer since they aren't giving away money, they have probably tighter limits, and they have actual products for model makers. but as long as the vc money keeps on flowing, both will survive (same goes with any other ai company you can think of) i am adamant that there is an ai bubble and it will pop, though. the big players like openai and nvidia keep on giving themselves infinite money, which goes down to every other ai company. but there is a big caveat here: there is no such thing as infinite money. they will find eventually that ai as-is isn't profitable and they will stop getting money. when that happens, the ai bubble will pop just like the dot-com bubble, thousands if not ten of thousands of companies will go bankrupt, only the biggest and most well-managed companies will survive.
use these ai tools like lmarena or yupp while you still can, they may not be around 1-3 years from now

i made the comparison with yupp since they are the most popular lmarena-like site although there are glaring differences. lmarena has a traditional rate limit system while yupp gives you credits, yupp does stupid influencer marketing while lmarena doesn't (i honestly hate their discord, id be instantly banned if i put that message above there, the whole mod team and core community are pretty much brainwashed into thinking yupp is the best thing since sliced bread and nothing can happen to it, that's why this server is much better)
also yupp likes to brag about their inflated model count, they don't have 800+ models, they probably have like a third of that if even. at least lmarena doesn't give a model count at all, that's more honest than inflated numbers.
other differences: you can chat with one model here (which i prefer) while yupp always makes you talk with two. lmarena also doesn't ban people for no reason (many people have fallen to yupp's ai moderation and tos bans)
