#Edit the town save (.pb) locally

Is there a way that i edit my pb save file but locally with a code or text editor? Because i would like to make a private server for testing and i would like to know that to edit levels, currencies and stuff from the saves.
Can you help me with that? Thanks in advance.

The private server on github comes with a dashboard you can use to edit the town file.

Yes. You can edit the pb file as text

So everything in there can be controled.

The only exception is donuts. Donuts are stored in a separate file, not in the pb file. You still can use the dashboard to edit the donuts
