He doesn't come with a building, he comes with the Pride of Ulster Banner. Try looking under the characters inventory

If he is in your inventory, he shouldn't be placed with the banner either. He'll be separate.

Okay, I was wrong. It does appear with the banner in your inventory.

And I just confirmed it works. Got from the Yearbook, stored to inventory, found it and placed it.
