I've apparently lost my town and when I load into the game, it makes me start over but I can't save it. I really miss this game, if anyone is able to help me get up and running again, I would greatly appreciate it!

You have to log in, dont play anonymous mode

And everyone starts from scratch. If you want to use your own town, you have to search for your username here: https://towns.spanser.dev/ and download your old town

If you searched for your username on the website I linked you and didnt find it, your old town was never backed up and is lost :/

I'm wondering if it's possible to start over without having to start over every time you load the game.

Yes, read my first message in this thread.

When you open the game and is met with the main menu, you have to click "Log in" in the bottom left corner. Then fill in your email (dont register) and fill in the code you'll get to your email.

If you dont log in, you will be playing in anonymous mode, which does not save.

Is there a way to "unlink" a loaded town? Someone else had me download a random town on Town Finder but it has everything in it, I was wanting to start over. I'm sorry for the confusion and the questions.
