#Common tasks for all characters.

Hello, I've always thought it was a shame that some buildings only serve a single character, or have no associated tasks. So I thought it might be interesting if all the characters could have a task associated with each building, like some buildings do, for example, the Casino $, which has a mission that concerns all adults. I've also always found it a shame that all the characters don't have common tasks, such as children going to school, adults going shopping, or checking their mail at the post office. Or, more generally, just going to eat at Krusty Burger.

So I think it could be really interesting to have common tasks for all the characters and also tasks associated with all the buildings.

If it's feasible to introduce this, I'm French so I could find a name for each new task in French and maybe someone from the discord who would be motivated could take care of translating or adapting all of this, for a more qualitative translation than what I could provide as a non-English speaker. Tell me what you think, thank you in advance for your answers.

There are already multiple jobs that all characters have access to

i'm confused :

  • kids have a 6h task to go to school
  • many characters have the kwikemart 1h task
  • many characters have the 30 min task to eat at Krusty

They want all characters to be able to go on one task. And three already two tasks that do this. "Enjoy a Night at the Theater" and "Complain About Electric Buzzing". "Buy Groceries at a Kindling Store" comes close, but donut-producing characters and God are removed from this job so that the job manager doesn't send them on it instead of their special jobs.

But yeah, there's already two jobs that do what the OP wanted. So adding extra jobs feels kind of pointless.

It's true that some characters already have these tasks, however these are almost only the characters obtainable in the main version of the game, the majority of characters, notably those of event do not have these tasks, and have only 5 tasks available, without the few common tasks already existing in the game. And for the fact of creating a common task for each building, some buildings are too under-exploited and some not used for tasks, while others are much too used like the brown house which has a number of tasks really indecent. It is to make these buildings and these under-used characters useful that I propose to do this, maybe at first glance the gain that this could bring compared to the time to do it is not really visible. But I really think that it would bring a real new immersion to the game and give many more possibilities to the players in their way of playing, and even if it would perhaps be a little long to realize, I think that this project is a real interest in my opinion.
