While players can get all of the items and characters in the Taps version, there is a lot of fun that I feel that gets missed out on when the events don't rerun. It would be awesome if events would run in Taps. Is this even possible, though?

Is it possible? Yes. Will we do it? No.
It's hard enough getting the event to work properly on one version (as you can see from all the issues we're having with this event). Plus, it's something to differentiate between the versions a bit more.
