#Private Rooms

By room do you mean like a pvp duel?
i mean like its a room where u can wait for all the players u invited, and then you can start a pvp duel if u will,
What other options are you thinking of.
so it is a pvp duel, with a waiting room if u will, unless ofc durls are a thing
Because you will be able to send casual duels to friends.
oh well i haven't thought about it too much, but like for example in speed running ranked, they use the rooms for tournaments
but if casual duels are a thing already, this isn't needed as there isn't much more to it
Sadly due to how PVPR is coded it will only be able to support 1v1s and nothing more than 2 player matches.
ahhh
yeah well tournaments can be like double elimination brackets of 1v1s, which i think that ranked should make a tournament with like the top 50 players
the only thing they do is for the qualifiers they do like matches with many players, but atter that its 1v1s anyway
Tournaments as of now are not planned for PVPR but it does seem likely that it will be eventually added, but not on release.
ah yeah, ngl would be nice to watch, kinda like the ranked playoffs, they they are organised is well organised
Yeah, would be really cool to see
and like some sort of ffa support would be nice, but my assumption is its just more work?
Nah its just not really possible at all for ffa to work in PVPR, thats mostly reserved for mcpvp anyways.
i see
its due to how PVPR's p2p network works in transferring packets/data between 2 players.
which fair enough, wouldn't be used nearly as much
Yeah, and one of the biggest improvements of PVPR is the fact that there's a rating system which would also be harder to configure with a FFA system rather than just duels.
honestly mate, i don't really code mc, i know the basics of memory and unreal engine game development
haha, fair enough, although if you do want to learn more you can read the message below.

🧬 Netcode Improvements
To reduce the effects of ping and make the game feel much smoother on cross region fights, we're developing a full upgrade to Minecraft's netcode. Essentially, we're reworking how the client and server run the world and deal with ping.
