Practice Mode

I understand that regular ranked play is also practice, and there are servers for casual play, but the anticheat this mod will give makes me think it would be nice to have a practice mode, something where you don't have to worry about messing up your rank if you are just trying a new technique or maybe just having an off day. This definately isnt necessary in beta or at launch, but it would be a nice addition somewhere down the line.

There will not be a casual queue, but you will be able to send casual duels to friends. The only way a casual queue will be added is if PVPR has a large enough playerbase to support a ranked and casual queue without affecting the queue time tremendously.

You can practice in pvpclub or in practice maps such as theo's map

Yeah, thats fair, I just think somewhere down the line, if there's enough players, it would be a nice feature just for convenience, definately shouldnt be a priority any time soon but maybe one day, if a feature like that were to exist, I would definately switch from pvpclub.

it's just for the ranking

Makes sense, its just annoying if this mod stays in 1.20.1 because you need an instance just for this, you won't use the instance for anything else, and pvpclub along with many other pvp servers dont support that version, so it would be nice to add a little more you can do with it. Or just make the mod support newer versions, that would probably be better honestly.

yeah the mod probably handles that, I just don't like the idea of having the instance only be for the mod since most servers don't support 1.20.1 especially pvp servers

But I hope they plan to do so after it’s polished

he advertised theo's map, just look at the amount of montages in #📸・media + treeman announced its open beta there

Lol Quantumbot is a lot less known than Theo's, so it's harder for people to find it
