When the roadmap shows something has been progressed on, could there be a way where we can see what was progressed on the roadmap very clearly somewhere.
Because if something went up by like half a heart, I won't notice a difference on the Road-Map.

As an adaptation to your idea, here is what I propose.
The roadmap should have what is currently up to date, and then below that mesage, a message that says what was changed. Here is an example of what I mean:
