#Lag, ping checker

Before the match, I would like to be able to check the opponent's connection stability (fluctuations in ping values during matching, measured in Mbps?) and ping, and then choose whether or not to play the match after checking the connection stability and ping (at this point, player name tags should not be displayed). The benefits of implementing this feature include allowing players to avoid lag and enjoy a more comfortable match, as well as identifying players who intentionally degrade their own connection. If there is a discrepancy between the pre-match “Lag, ping checker” and the actual connection stability or ping, reporting this discrepancy could help identify and exclude players who intentionally degrade their connection. Of course, to prevent false bans, it would be better to require reports from dozens of players. This could lead to a more comfortable and fair matching system, don't you think?

#

addendum: The ban function for unstable connections may not be necessary.

I believe there is a demand for players with unstable connections to be refused matches, but isn't the disadvantage of fewer matches due to match refusals greater than the advantage?

Wouldn't that be hard to check since it's dependant on who they're fighting along with internet not always being consistent. Ex where im at, we have storms all the time so I sometimes have 70 ms on east servers and other times just have 110 cause why not. It would make me look like a lagger and then get unreasonably dodged.

Additionally, it kind of hurts people with just bad ping to constsntly get queue dodged. It might stop a few laggers, but I would rather let the anticheat handle that then to harm all the normal people with bad internet. Those with good wifi sometimes have to deal wirh people with bad ping and we can do our best to mitigate the lag, but we shouldn't just harm the laggy players cause its more convient for everyone else
