My definition of useless is that it doesn't prepare you for popular servers/challenges besides just the kit (uhc helps with uhcs and manhunts, smp mace and crystal help with smps) and that it doesn't teach you much skill used in other gamemodes (sword teaches aim and spacing, uhc and smp teach shielding, pot and nethpot help hotkeying and speed 2 which helps aim)

In this most active of game modes, your opponent must have 100+ ping and the server has to have horrible movement like uspvp (no hate) so you keep getting stuck in blocks. It must be in a plains biome. You use a hoe to hoe the grass underneath the opponent so they get stuck in a block (because of horrible ping and server). Then you must use a composer and rotten potatoes to fill up the composer to just the right height, put a trapdoor on the composer, put the player inside the composter, and close the trapdoor, ensuring they are stuck for eternity

Plus it’s a pretty essential basis for uhc
