It would probably be better to just make it so that you are sprinting when you spawn in

So people can still toggle their sprinting (although I'm not sure why someone would want to do that)

If you want to enable your sprint with the sprint key and not have it disabled when you press it again, have you considered just not pressing it a second time?

I know feather has functionality related to this

all sprint functions feel cleaner on feather

it might change how toggle sprint works, I don't remember ever being able to toggle once just when entering the server (I use vanilla with shaders/fps mods normally)
