Since the redstone transmitters output the same signal strength as their output the organs could remain compact even with the change,

Would be cool cause then you can have crescendos' and decrescendos

I thought crescendos were tempo

No, they're sound

#

Crescendos are when the music gets very loud

#

Decrescendos are when it gets quiet

yeah accelerando

#

or a plethora of other terms because music is almost as plagiarised as the english language

but redstone volume control is 100% on my list!

Although redstone volume control is neat and probably more “coding friendly”, I think it would be cooler if expression boxes were implemented instead to be more like actual organs! (At least that’s my opinion. Doesn’t mean my opinion is correct)

true, but yeah, the programming for that would be... interesting

#

but at the very least i can add shutters that open and close visually

it would be easier to play the organs if its off redstone strength rather than actively changing the block like you do for the note since if you wanted to play different volumes in the same song youd have to have multiple of the same note at the different volumes
