i really like shapes, but i kept running into difficulty with trying to move the pieces and having them be rotated instead; there’s definitely a bit of new-player unfamiliarity with the controls on my part so it could just take some getting used to, but i wanted to share my initial impressions as well - please let me know if i’m missing something!

i do understand having the shape fixing itself so it’s less confusing for the player, but the frequent snapping back to another position when i tried to move it (and not the one i intended) when trying to pick them up kept throwing me off, particularly with the larger pieces. it felt like i had to move the piece into the spot i wanted and then rotate it, instead of being able to move the piece around and then place it which didn’t feel as intuitive to me.

i’m not 100% sure if i’m describing everything correctly, i wish the video showed the touch screen movements! 😭

Depending on which device you are using and what your recording program is you might be able to have it record touches. You can likely search to find out or could ask in general chat and someone might know of some options.

Thank you for sharing a screen recording, even without touches showing it can be extremely helpful for the team to see what your seeing on the screen. When posting images & videos we do ask that you take an extra moment to make use of the spoiler tag options. This allows people to not see what has been posted so it doesn't spoil the puzzle or answers for them.

thank you so much, i’ll make sure to do that in future!

i’m on an ipad, unfortunately it seems like the options for touch recording are using a custom assistivetouch gesture (which seems to record taps, but stops swiping gestures) or using a bluetooth mouse, which does show up in recordings but playing with a mouse is very different to playing with your fingers - i’ll ask in the general chat to see if anyone has any tips, thanks again ♥️
