If you're usually playing with no sound, now's the perfect time to turn up the volume and let us know what you think!! 🎵

Here's what we're curious about:

  • How do you feel about the in-game music? Does it fit the puzzle vibe for you?
  • What do you think of the sound effects (across all games, but especially in Keysmash and Mosaic as new games)
  • Is there anything about the music or sound effects that feels off or distracting?
  • Does the audio get too repetitive at some point? (If so, when?)
  • How's the volume and sound quality compared to other apps you're using?
  • Are there any spots in-game where you expected a sound but got silence instead? tumbleweed

Feel free to share anything else that comes to mind - these are just some pointers. Every note helps us improve your experience! 🙂

I liked the old sound effects better. The old ones were happy and made me feel good when I did actions. The new ones are kind of bland and robotic, if that makes sense?

The in-game music is really nice and soothing in my opinion. I've noticed that sometimes it kind of stops for a tiny bit when I click "play" or "continue" for the daily constellations puzzle and then resumes normally.

It's very relaxing.. didn't help when I was puzzling in bed to finish off the day as it made me even more sleepy🥱

So I gave the music and sound affects a try and personally I feel like I am listening to a children's lullaby CD played when putting a child down for a nap or bedtime. For me personally it's far more irritating than it is relaxing. Though honestly I play most games with the music/sound affects off. I am just glad Netflix doesn't run ads because nothing ruins a game then when you turn sounds off to then get blasted with loud sounds from an Ad.

The audio feels relaxing and smooth, which I really like — it doesn’t have any harsh breaks when finishing a puzzle, and that makes it a nice background. The sound effects are fun and fit well, especially in the new games like Keysmash and Mosaic.

On the other hand, the background music feels always the same and gets a bit boring after a while. I’d love to hear more variation depending on the type of puzzle or game, to keep the experience fresh while still being calm and pleasant.

Overall, it’s a good start and I’m excited to see how the audio evolves! 🚀

I agree with comments about finding the music relaxing but also rather samey. I would like to have more variation available so I can pick bg music to match my mood.

I find the *THUMP* sound of placing a digit in Sudoku to be anticlimactic when the short sound of a pencil on paper or something similarly tactile or final might be a lot better. That default sound is the same one used in other menus and navigation in the rest of the app.

Along with the seemingly-neverending music which can become tiresome after 15-45+ minutes (Sudoku is a puzzle which isn't typically completed quickly except by the good or best; I seek tutorials online (not necessarily in Netflix Puzzles, though some explanation would help a lot!) that will explain it to me in greater detail).

Thank you for your consideration(s). 🙂
