I need to check if these boxes meant to be closed like this and risk penalized over nothing or are these boxes able to be opened? Because this can confuse a lot of people not sure what to do with these boxes that may or may not contain contraband, non illegal items or zombie parts.

EDIT: Turns out these boxes are meant to be scanned with UV or XRAY tools, which I didnt possess in Day 6-10, which means the boxes are spawned in the day I dont have the tools

That or the X ray and you don't have it unlocked by the time they get introduced And if you let the infected material into the camp, your Camp can get infected

This is also from campaign game, so there's specific day when the tools appears.

It is signed as contraband / baggage and got a excellent score for that

I had that exact guy and when I confiscated it it was -100 every time
One of the bins was like glowing purple/pink just like in this photo as well
