#Maybe in the checkpoint we can do medical stuff like take their blood and check it for blood markers

theres already a tool ingame but like what about a ceterfuge or something else could add more cool medical gameplay
Yeah it would be a great idea to include blood tests
And then you’d have to wait for the centrifuge to finish and maybe let the survivors who are being tested into a buffer zone so you can check the next person in line while waiting
And maybe go more in depth into blood tests and compare the blood composition like leukocytes and stuff like that
tbh the time required to detect viruses in the blood take a while
so it could be a mechanic for quarantined survs
like for example, the fastest method (that i can remember atm) is rapid viral marker tests, which is the one i think you want?
the results are out in 12h
standard lab tests, which include pcr take around 1-3 days
then the other ones, which are serology, viral load, blood cultures
are anywhere near a day to an entire week
the tests that would work within game mechanics would be rapid tests, pcr, and elisa, but it depend on the devs and could be an alternative to the syringe method (would also be a limited tool since they tend to be accurate, realistically around 70-80%), so if syringe is applied at entrance, we could throw these tests to the quarantine zone as a crutch
Yea that’s a good idea
i loved yours and i think it can def fit in the finished game
