#Option to refuse shop techniques

Interesting. I think that this is a bit of a presentation issue, because we devs like it as a bit of a "gamble" by design. Maybe the "clean scroll" presentation doesn't reflect that well enough.
I think this is ok with the other schools since their kits can still function even if your good special move gets replaced by a mediocre one. This becomes a much bigger issue with the tiger, where a large number of their techniques depend on you jumping with your special attack, and replacing your tiger special with random detritus can basically wipe 4-5 techniques off your kit. I understand if this is what you guys intended but it did feel really, really bad when my run basically got erased by me spending money on a neutral scroll
thematically this is also really weird. by reading a random scroll I bought, knowledge that was vital to my fighting just got ejected from my mind and I basically became a cripple
Never realized it'd be a bigger issue with Tiger, yeah obviously
Can't promise we'll do something yet, but we will definitely talk about it
thank you!
The option could also be limited to Special Moves that would replace your current one. That way you can still have the randomness of getting Blocking Pawns while not being frustrating when it just overwrites an integral part to your build.
Another possibility I'd like to suggest is to completely remove special moves from the available pool if you already have one, and then make a separate item that gives you a new random special move
i love that idea
Noted everyone, thanks!
