So, chat. I have a question regarding the game. (Picture taken by brother.) We have been playing modded REPO. This is one example of it. There was also a TIDAL WAVE of gnomes that flooded us on level one. This has never happened to us before. It led to some questions asked between us and I took the initiative to try to find someone with more knowledge. Anyone know what happened? I can give extra details besides what I give below.

We haven't turned on any new mods from the list, just the usual ones. If anything, turned a few off. (Our coms kept blowing, we tried ridding some of the mods to see if it helped.)
There had to have been close to 10-15 gnomes in the first level.
We had 4 robes on one level, she kept respawning rather quickly, similarly to the Mentalist. Since we move quickly all together to get the level completed, we don't know if their respawn time is THAT quickly.
We saw the Headman completely vanish. We were preparing to leave the level and he created a noise then completely disappeared.

on levels 1 to 3, there is a very small chance that the tier 3 enemy is replaced by multiple of a lower tier enemy. it will always be the same enemy, the number of which is usually 3 but some enemies (like gnomes, ducks, spewers) have more, and hidden has less (2)
-# this can ONLY occur on levels 1 to 3, and only starts occurring once the host of your game has completed 5 runs

• 5 ducks can happen if you get one duck (as the tier 1 enemy) plus four ducks (as the tier 3 enemy)
• 14 gnomes can happen if you get four gnomes (as the t1) and ten gnomes (as the t3)
• 4 robes could happen on levels 20+ (unless you dont mean at the same time), respawning quickly could happen due to a number of things
• headman vanishing is a known bug

With the ducks, we still had Bowtie around, and peeper did appear occasionally.
I believe that is what happened with the gnomes as there were no other mobs around, just a wave of them.
They weren't at the same time, she just responded extremely quickly and kept reappearing out from near the truck.

if youre on level 3 then bowtie can appear as the tier 2, though peeper shouldnt be possible if you have 5 ducks (would if you had 4)

ah i see, enemies will respawn faster if you make lots of noise with items, and their respawn time is shorter the longer you take to complete any given level

just to let you know as well, respawn timers will only decrease if the "noise" is loud enough. loud noises primarily come from item interactions (such as the toy monkey activating, the music box playing, the tv turning on, the toy frog jumping, the clown nose being pressed, etc). and as you said, breaking items also makes a loud noise as well, although damaging items does not (but still makes a noise though, so huntsman can hear it).
-# breaking items isnt usually a big deal though, its only -5 seconds to respawn timers (per item)

We did break many items, but we also did take a really long time, so I will try to keep all these noted so we don't break anything more and do anything unnecessary to take up time.

I do ask though, does pressing the continue watching button on some of the TVs also affect the run? Asking for a friend. (I am the friend. I always activate those on purpose 😂)

Got brain working for the Ghost . It can now path correctly around the map. It despawns between 30sec to 1 min. It respawns by attaching to another host (Player not game Host in this sense) at random times and begins the cloning process of the PlayerAvatar and haunts that player. Just gotta fix the nametag but that was last anyways. If it touches you, you die.

To be honest, In my entire time of playing R.E.P.O I've never noticed this.. so I honestly don't think it's that big of a deal.. if it does mess with your head a littl bit, maybe look into a "Full screen" mod or something for the game.

This is really weird.. this is the first time I've come across this message with downgrading a game.. and R.E.P.O seem's to be the first one, where none of the "Depot code ID's" work.. Huh, how interesting..

If you're curious "Why you downgrading the game?" there's a mod someone asked me to check, but unfortuantily it dosen't work, so I'm trying to see if I can get an older version of the game, and then give them the code, so they can still use the mod with the game, will an older version of the game

By the way want to clariefy.. this is perfectly legal.. this is backed up by a "Steam Website" called "SteamDB" which allows you to downgrade games you own to previous version, but also keeps track of every games information when uploaded to the steam app

As long as you own the game, you can downgrade.. but it's saying I don't own the game, even though I was gifted it by a friend.. unless.. that changes my license subscription to it.. Since I have tried this with "Project Playtime" and it worked perfectly fine.. then again that was a free game.. so perhaps with paid multiple player games, it dosen't work.. which makes sense.. • Quota - percentage of TMV that determines the total quota for the level. for each individual extraction, the total quota is divided by the number of extractions

no, when enemies are far away from players they will despawn for a set amount of time (it varies based on conditions), the amount of time its despawned for is multiplied by EDTM

It's the eye called "Peeper" for some reason.. peeper renders as a full massive 3D model, when it should just be half of the model instead, as that's all you see.. it would prevent this kinda stuff happening.

Normally, this occurs when there's a downstairs section and the eye spawns downstairs, but this is a bug here, as there's no downstairs layer.

Yeah, but I think they should create another model that's just smaller, I'm assuming this was done to make the animation easier, as this is their first 3D game.. so perhaps they don't know as much with Blender.. just yet

But I'd recommend they make half a model for the eye, so if it does spawn on a lower level, you don't see the whole model, popping out of the floor.

"MKV" is the best lookin, but has no support for** "Discord" that's why you have to download the file, but most computers don't have the "Codec's" for ** "MKV" or **"HVEC" **installed on their device.. therefore, the video won't play sadly, but putting it on "YouTube" and watching it through that will work, as you're watching it Via a server that supports all video formats, not additional downloads needed ^ ^

They're already is, in the mod called "LevelScaling" by **"Swaggies" **they introduce challenge levels where there's a random chance **"Challenges" **can spawn into the level, which make the gameplay slightly more challenging to add a little bit of extra flair and spice to your progression. ( All these settings can also be configured too )

You can also completely change how the progression changes gradually over time, lot of thought and effort was poured into this mod, I highly recommend you check give it a look, when you have time ^ ^

There's only 2 per level

There's also no cart, because I set it like that, so people can't complete the extraction points.. with a haul count of 10,00 per extraction point

This is what happens with me, I simply check the level to see if it's good enough for the event, and then go back to the truck and extract everything, ignore the haul count being so high, it's to stop players from completing the level, as it's basically impossible with.. 2 extraction points, and no cart 😂

It's level 11, and I haven't adjusted the way **"Haul Calculation" **works overtime either

So for some context, me and my friend where messing around in the** "BETA testing" mod pack. That's why we're in "Godmode" Not playing the game properly, just testing mods, and we where testing the mod called "Batty"** by "Omnicye" to see if it would be a potential enemy to add to the mod pack I'm developing, and we had the stupid idea of making a "R.E.P.O Challenge" where we could, only use "Enemy soul orbs" to complete the extraction, but you couldn't use the cart, or weapons. If you got an orb, you had to carry it all the way back. At the end of the day What's the point of testing things out, unless you have a little bit of fun with it, right..? Especially if it's R.E.P.O. So we spawned a bunch of enemies in, only "Roberta" "Huntsmen", "HeadMan" and "Scarecrow" and we had to use tumble to kill them and take the orbs.. I unfortunately fell into a pit, and even though I couldn't die.. I was stuck, so I had to let myself self destruct, as anything I spawned in through the **"Admin Menu" **would just break.. So my friend @ebon elk was left to complete the challenge all by himself, and we did quiet well.. we only had a couple of orbs left to collect. He obtained multiple orbs, but one of the enemies after he obtained an orb would always break it, just before he got to the extraction point to place it in, this happened to him, multiple times without fail.. Every time.. headman would be waiting to pounce at him, he lost multiple orbs and his sanity, while doing this challenge, but he was determined, and eventually he did get the final orb, but wanted to go back for more, eventually he gave up trying to get the rest of the orbs back, and just completed the challenge.

This is not the full video, a minute of it, had to be chopped off unfortunately, because even with "Nitro" can't send anything more than 1 minute, unless I make it unwatchable
