Love the concept! Great art as well. I see you thinking about what to name it, I'd say give it a name reminiscent of what it is inspired by. Old disney cartoon characters always had a human first name and the animal they are as their last name (Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Jiminy Crickey, etc).

He looks like some kind of nondescript bug so I'd give him a name like Terry Tick, Frank Fly, Walter Bee and so on. Since he's so nondescript you could even just call him Barry Bug or something.
