New Enemy Idea: The Virus
Basically just randomly infects players or equipment. What do you all think?

randomly just being infected with the only counter being "spend money" seems kinda eh

would be cool if it started off as an enemy and would only infect the player or items on contact

for example, a small drone with a usb stick

its very slow and noisy, buuut

if it gets to someone it latches on and injects the virus

it would do the same for items

hovers over them and infects them

grenades would be liable to randomly go off (with a longer delay than usual tho)

also grenades can be stored to defuse them so its not super harmful

stuff like guns would just be more innacurate ig

and tracker items would just occasionally have static and point the wrong way for a second or so before recalibrating

something like that could make more sense

Quick monster concept that I couldn't stop thinking about today. I think the sides would spin like crazy along with the legs as like a launch / attack, and it sumo waddles around for a little bit before going back into its idle mode. I think it'd be activated if the players moved/ touched it or they were too loud around it for a period of time :)

I will describe it later on, but they are supposed to be a supporter monster, its a far fetched idea since we don’t know the actual limitations of “monsters” and the border of what monitors can or cannot do so I am just putting this out there. As of now they are a supporter who gives the finder of the bitten a small boost in strength, stamina and maybe range? Will follow you around, chance of finding a small tiny trinket item for you around the map, can hold a small size enemy in it’s mouth where you can just grab it and kill it from there. If it dies or is sacrificed the player will experience a debuff from “loss of a companion” which will slightly decrease your movement and stamina and will visibly show your character depressed. (for the current level will be removed next level) This is a very rough description and concept idea I will be refining the pros and cons

Or you can add a lip to give the illusion of width by doing a round of slip stitches in the front loop only on the head
