the way i play personally is
-Make sure to hide and run when you need, since it's a horror game and the game is lowkey built around it. Hence all the hiding spots like cabinets/lockers everywhere.
-Always keep some reserve stamina (say, ~20) for if an enemy jumps you and you need to hide quickly
-learn from your mistakes

turning corners quickly to make enemies lose sight of you REALLY helps with getting away

I just need to finally not die on early levels. Im having rotten luck on singleplayer atm. Dying in the most stupid ways. half being my fault, half being from random annoyances.

just last night i got trapped in a room after extracting the last extraction point with a cosmetic box, went to hide under a table for gambit to touch me and pick me up. Quickly got ganged up by the scarecrow and a group of gnomes while i was suspended in mid air. Lost the cosmetic box cause i died before making it out.

no, box #1 stays capped out at 60% forever, then box #2 will ramp up in chance as you progress

then at level 11, box #2 will cap and box #3 will be added, and the cycle repeats

higher the rarity, the lower percentage it spawns at that rarity.

for each individual box, its just the chance that the given rarity will be picked. for the total thing next to the level number, its the chance of getting at least one box with that rarity on that level
