Hey, I'm having an issue with my microphone in Repo. I'm using a new mic that's connected through an audio interface. The game detects the device, but no input comes through when I test the mic. What's strange is that the mic works completely fine in Discord and in other games.

This problem only started after I played Repo with mods. Since then, there hasn't been any mic input in the game at all. I've already checked all the settings, gone through the files, deleted everything, and reinstalled the game - but the mic still only refuses to work in Repo. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

It did that to me for a while, you dont gotta do nothing but make sure your mic is in the imput for microphone, bc yes when the game lags and stuff your mic does disconnect and start acting up. thats one main cause

iirc when someone had the same issue it was because the input was only on the right channel while repo only used the left. Try checking if you have a second input or a way to enable mono recording on your interface

Because the fucking game isn't cross-play, and playing with rando's hinders the game; so again; fuck the person responsible) but then the game became increasingly difficult even when you save the mother fucking file like the video game tries to stop you from doing and your purchases aren't good enough to save the experience, it's all down-hill and it's cruel.

The game isn't cross-play because it's not on any other consoles... There's also the fact that this game was advertised as a co-op horror game. It's entirely intended to be played with others, mainly friends since this game is a friendslop game--and I call it that with all the endearment I can muster. Hell, I've never made it to the moon phase changes, 90% of my enjoyment comes from hearing my friends do random bits and panicking.
You got to understand that the way you enjoy playing and the way it's meant to be played are very separate. You might enjoy playing it solo, but it's not meant to be seen as a game "to win"... Hell, I imagine even at full release the game's ending will just be "Too many dangerous monsters, can't leave van safely." Honestly, I used to think it was a bad game, getting upset at friends for breaking things...
I'm having the time of my life now going from the mindset of "We need everything so we can Win" to "You broke it... there was no bit, yet you chose violence" whenever someone drops a cup for no reason. I'd probably find it unbearable to play solo, and honestly I think that's kind of intended because it's not a single-player game.

i went back and played one of the first versions of repo and boy was it so much more fun! There was no overcomplicated monsters, or anything like that, it was so simple and so much scarier as well! me and my friend usually play repo for like 1-2 hours but on this orignal version we spent 5 hours! others should really do this. I forgot so many of the original monsters like gnomes, the duck, mentalist and this reminded me how fun it was! recommend you do it as well :)

Been playing it since it came out and as said it is simply the best game ever.
Semiwork put a lot of heart and soul into the game in both the art and music.
Essentially plays like most other rogue like

Specifically nuclear throne and gungeon and personally im a big fan of rogue likes so it was pretty much like home for me.

If you like the semiwork charm that repo has i would highly encourage you to try voidigo
