That’s the only thing I found out: according to an article on PC Gamer, Pontus explained in an update video that in a future update, they plan to introduce a mechanic where the more players there are in a team, the cheaper the medkits will be. It's a team bonus meant to encourage cooperation and reduce healing costs during missions
