the point im making is this, at level 1 and level 2, ur never going to know what you come up against nor get lucky enough in most cases, to deal with this issue. Having tier 3's that can absolutely ruin a run without being able to fight back or escape in the time, isnt balanced for early runs of the game where ur extremely limited

even hiding most cases, isnt enough cause they have seen you try to hide or spot you anyway in some cases.

there is no counter play in early levels with specific monsters, there is no balance. Ur given basically the equivilant of a level 6 stage at level 1.

still doesnt really matter, Im very cautious when it comes to monsters, hiding is my preferred way to get through levels against monsters until I have a decent way to fight back, the fact it can still spot you at high elevation when you only have granades and mines as the only counter play option which even then, basically doesnt work against it either, u still die.

ah i never use high elevation i just hide under desks, chairs, beds whatever i dont use elevation even in midgame

I only escaped the 1st time cause i blew up a granade at my feet to stun it, having to damage myself to escape it. The second time I was seeing if I could drop granades from a high place and it can just spot you and chase you from all the way down there.

theres some guides on repo monsters which include headman, if he sees u under a table u can quickly move out from under when he peaks at u and then he will lose sight of u

if anything, im not really asking for a headman nerf as such, just to balance out the early levels at the very least. Not have certain persistant and awful monsters spawn so early on. The ones you cant just hide, escape or even counter at that point. Stage 3 and onwards, I think its then fine but not when in levels that have no counter play to them.

lethal company is where its done correctly though, the point is that you dont fight back against those monsters, you just loot and extract. repo is different in that it gives u such options to do so.

so because it gives you those options, it needs to balance out the levels according to your current progression of the level.

If he sees you at the furthest possible distance, yeah u might get lucky enough but turn a corner to get away from him, but to face him at close range or he pops in the room facing you as your putting stuff in the cart, u aint surviving even if you ran into a hiding spot.

Slow enemy but always knows where you are (literally just loom) can travel through walls but doesn’t deal damage, instead sending you to a different zone upon contact that you have to escape

u can actually run around the loom while jumping and it wont hit u, think about it as running around in a triangle way with 3 point

the difference with every other monster is the fact that it can either be out ran or outplayed still from that close distance. u can still manage to get away with hiding with the rest of them. the headman u just cant. Its game over instantly. No escape in level 1 or level 2. Ur forced to start over because 1 monster has to spawn in that early on that you just cant avoid 24 7.

huntsman is super easy, just stay quiet the whole time, the robe, just look away from it and run, will often stop it from chasing you at full speed, you can also hear both of them before you see them. Headman is much harder to deal with.
