For me the main issue is that it's hard to see precisely where you are on a thin bridge when you're moving the cart and it's blocking most of your view, compounded by the fact that seeing outside of your flashlight's field of light is a bit difficult even on high gamma because dark areas look washed out

The filled up cart just blocks most of your vision, and it's hard for me personally to sometimes tell what's happening on the edge of the screen because:

1. My screen is huge so that is in my peripheral vision
2. Outside of the flashlight's cone it's either pretty dark in low gamma, or washed out at high gamma

And I'm just not used to trying estimate stuff from just the sides of my vision

I guess I'll get used to it

Also, thinking about it, I'm pretty sure almost every single time I died to a pit was while carrying stuff to the final extract

it's complicated..

from my understanding when you make sound, the game makes some "invisible visual rings" based on the "loudness" the sound you've made. And Monsters use that to target/notice the sound being made and aim for it.

I'm not that well technical understanding of it, nor well enough to know whether he'll prioritize recent closer distance with small sound or (longer ago) bigger sound but further away.., but that's about the rough idea.. 🤔

no that's how it works. If an extraction is activated and the head is out of bound/void, it'll get teleported to said active extraction. If not, it'll spawn inside the truck as Swaggies already mentioned. This is fully vanilla feature.

what some mods however do are reviving deadheads directly when putting heads inside extraction without extracting anything yet. At least from what I know. No idea about other kind of mods 🤷‍♂️
