pros of feather drone:
simply makes objects much lighter, negating the need for strength

pros of anti-grav:
object weight stays the same, but is unaffected by gravity. useful for letting large valuables float in the air or "throwing" them a far distance

it also makes it so two teammates with no strength can still be helpful with large valuables!

So if he is building a scout build, and only wants the drone so he can move large items on his own (or items that I don't have enough strength for yet) the feather drone is the way, right? I never get a drone unless it's indestructible

but welp. If between the two then.... it cannot be graded given both have their own niches.

Feather Drone is nice to keep things in same "state" as you picked the valuable up, as well as making it light of course.

Zero Gravity is nice for same "lightness", but on contrary can "swing" more than Feather Drone does, AND it will stay floated which might make things sometimes difficult if you want to put it down. On the bright side though, you can easily put one huge Valuable in extraction, bring it up to make space on the extraction for more high valuables.

it's pretty much a feather drone with slightly different mechanics

My problem I always tell him is it's very expensive though. We haven't gotten past level 12 yet we are still learning but the extra ~10k spent in the anti gravity drone often prevents me from buying an extra trash upgrade to get guaranteed double strength, or Indy drone or pistol or something

Like not exactly same but more easily. But I don't think the Feather Drone will work on the teaset because it's already pretty light(?). Is it? Not sure actually if strength isn't upped that much.. 🤔

But anyways, with teaset I recommend putting it on the ground, grab on one side and lift it only a little bit and move forward like that (as if you're walking the dog). Then you best extract it to an extraction point that has even ground without stairs

there's usually only ~20k worth of value in level 1 from what i know, and sledge is worth 29k-47k (as per the very reliable wiki)

You could get lucky and get a good spawn, have it have about 30k, and if you get a clown, you could use it to kill a big monster and get about 35k, or you could also just farm something like that

If you know how to kill a clown with no weapons that could be an easy 6k

If they were aiming to monetize the game like that I'm sure we already would have seen some kind of live service thing inside the game

It is def a refrence to 1982 john carpenter's "the thing" which they find a shapeshifting alien in ice at a norweigion camp in the antartic, the norweigians found the alien in a block of ice and it escaped after they took the block to the camp (the thing was also the inspiration for among us aswell)

Also now thinking of it the whole shapeshifting alien thing makes sense for some monsters like the duck and elsa
