5 extraction points, many enemy you have to be stealth with and play strategically the whole time, so many giant items which forces you to use indestructible drone and feather/gravity drones, etc...

Level 20 alone is longer than levels 1, 2 and 3 combined

With enough strength, all you really need is indestructible, and you can ditch the feather/zero gravity drones. Around 6 or more is all you need tbh

Level 20 alone is longer than levels 1, 2 and 3 combined
Yes, that’s the point. The levels get bigger to support more valuables

Every time I beat level 20 I make a new save file and enjoy the early levels a lot

I haven't tried it as I've never bought it... but either they can push it as they're walking into it, or it'll block a little bit until the phase bridge shrinks again and they'll be able to get through.

I have an example; an upgrade that reduces damage based on your max HP. Each upgrade decreases the damage you take but the further upgrades don't impact much. 1 upgrade makes pits do 95% of your max health of damage, 2 upgrades is 90%, exc. until it reaches a cap

its a good idea but pits are the only thing stopping players from being practically immortal. i get what you mean but i dont think the issue is pits killing the player. the issue is pits are the ONLY thing that can kill the player and its unfun.

i feel like pits should still be there being a potential instantkill but it should be alongside buffs to monsters so they can hurt you effectively.

overcharge becomes only a minor hindrance when the enemy you're trying to drag is in a pit room with pits that measure 2 square kilometers
