Host was also fed up at some point and asked whether someone in lobby knew him. We found out not, so he ended up kicking him. 🙊

There's also sometimes language barrier, given not everyone is equally good at English, so some people might be using soundboard for effects at communication I guess.

Just another skill for using soundboard properly I guess? 🤔

Else Upgrades are important;
At start try to have at least 1 health upgrade so that your max HP is above 100 so that if you get hit by an enemy who does 100 damage you can still survive that one hit.

At least 1 Strength to make carrying somewhat heavy items with more ease. After having Strength at 4, 7, 9 and ultimately 13 for the ability to grab and pick up certain enemies.

As for weapons, Tranqgun, Shotgun, Gun, Sledge Hammer are great.

I do recommend Pocket Cart with Cart Cannon so that you can counter Loom more effectively, but will recommend this only after all the other things are set and you have "spare funds".

Ohyea having just 1 Range upgrade alone will significantly help reaching stuff that are a bit further away.

strength upgrades take priority over everything, afterwards you can spec into buying health upgrades or melee weapons @celest valve

also make sure to grab stamina upgrades while you play too, sprint speed ones are optional but will make you run quite faster

recommendation for a beginner player

Rest it's up to your preferences (either you like the Tumble launch/Tumble Wings for movement, or you like the Stamina, Speed, Crouch Rest for Movement).

many ranged weapons are stronger than melee weapons once mastered, but there's great melee weapon options that deal consistent good damage to enemies

strength upgrades are required to lift enemies into the tumble state and throw them into pits, along with helping to move large or cumbersome items easier

Oh yea there's also Extra Jump which I highly recommend as well, given it gives you to ability/chance to jump out of pits (should the pits be "deep").

Or just straight forwards (especially in Museum) reach valuables that are places high up.

But Extra Jump is best to get only after the "more basic must need upgrades and weapons/items" are acquired.

Another tip as well; don't progress too far in levels just yet on your "main" save. Try to quit and start a new file and start from Lv1 just to get somewhat more experience before heading to your main save file so that you can go in somewhat more prepared and reducing the chances of dying on that very main save file.
