a really good way to get away from monsters is sliding and immediately jump tumbling, it gets you pretty far from monsters and it only takes abt 4 stamina for good distance

1. the first few levels should be where you make as much profit as possible. especially considering how challenging future ones become, you dont want to be stuck without money at level 8 because all of it went into upgrades you didnt need.
2. take health packs as needed. while the truck can heal you it isn't a guarantee you will return there alive/by a friend carrying your head. surplus is good but cost can stack.
3. begin considering weapons at later levels. focus on upgrades first. my suggestions are: health, stamina, speed and strength.

Take your time, there isnt too much rush in the levels unless you get caught with your pants down by the tier 3 monsters

The main danger in Clown was it jumping you without you noticing it, which doesn't exist in Loom, as the Loom literally warns you its after you
It only has one attack, which is really easy to walk out of so you don't take 100 damage instead of 25, and it also doesn't have a big range, so you can just walk away from your cart and the only scary part of the clown - destroying your valuables, is gone, Loom is literally a free tier 3

doing a run with stamina upgrades for the first time and im lwk starting to love extra stam

at 300 stam rn which is the highest ive ever gotten and i can sprint around the map

now im getting crouch rest and then ill stop shop manipulating stamina related stuff

Getting a ton of sprint speed is also fun, even tho speed is useless

4 or 5 speed upgrades is usually the maximum i set for myself

I just don't find any use for them, you can outrun any monster with base sprint speed and it just makes you use stamina quicker

Yeah i'm a solo gamer who gets pretty far, the harder rooms are a good thing, even if some of them are cancerous (station's vent room)
