That’s what I’ve been thinking

It works if they make that part of the story, I could see the taxman wanting to save money on building robots, so use humans instead. Also it makes sense that semibots would have human organs because of some of the functions in the game. For instance, when the loom locks on to you, you hear a heartbeat and see veins in your vision of the loom’s hands. Another one being the pink mist from the heart hugger affecting the semibots.

I’m so curious about the lore. I’m honestly shocked Game Theory hasn’t done anything with R.E.P.O. yet.

I’m not sure about all monsters but a lot could be, the graffiti in the museum has an interesting picture on the clown and staff. Maybe a combination of both, I thought with some type of magic for it. But I can definitely see that for others like the clean up crew. I feel that there’s multiple stories happening in repo, at least in this stage of the game. Maybe some of them end up intertwining? Possibly making some monsters, mutated from an apocalypse scenario (the entire world seems to be apocalyptic for sure like you say!) but also made with swiftbroom magic and possibly other things too?

i came with a question about the game. I have kinda "big" problem, cuz today i have a problem while playing modded repo.
Yesterday everything worked fine, but today i have some problems where my weapons autoshoot or everything just randomaly dissapears from my inventory. I triet to removing mods that i added which i thought caused this, but nothing worked, even installing everything again.
Anyone had similiar problem?

my honest advice might be try to just be faster. not like huge speedrunning but like think about it this way, the faster you go the quicker you complete levels, which means you have to fight exponentially less enemies because of respawn timers

for instance i take around 20ish minutes to complete a level past 20 and i use like 3 crystals per level. because using sledgehammer and strength to kill enemies is very efficient, and since im fast, enemies dont respawn as much so i dont need to kill them again much

Pretty quick... That's the problem... Usually we clear the entire floor in less then 10/5 min

if you go fast youre more likely to run into the enemies quickly

That's the opposite way of finding monsters quickly. On the first level they usually spawn the furthest away from you and if you clear out the room too fast they activate much faster too

Meaning,if you are too slow, they stalk you

If you are too fast, they will head bump you

Best course of action to deal with monsters is either to take them out or avoid needless contact if time and effort of standing still isn't your concern

What I have learned while playing the game, is if items are worth it being used to kill monsters and I can say that even one grenade is more cost efficient in the beginning than using items in the level itself as a weapon

if youre shooting at someone with a super high ping and they just simply walk backwards you genuinely cannot hit them
