Or the game could just have a functioning pause button in singleplayer? Hiding isn't a guarantee you're run won't be killed while you're afk. There's also the matter that you're still punished if not due to monster timers still progressing.

It's a roguelike, there is no meta progression, when the run dies, that's it. It's a horror game, yes, but so are games like Resident Evil or Silent Hill, and those have a working pause as well.

you would've legitimately had 3 mentalists.
lvl 2 spawns x1 T1 monster, and x1 T3 monster - which can be replaced by a group of smaller tier monsters by low chance. Mentalist is T2, and the only way to get T2 monsters is by group. the group for Mentalist spawns x3.

as for there being x10 by perception... enemies come back to life immediately after the final extraction. if you killed them, you might've seen the same 3 respawning over and over?

This is an issue with nvidia's Anisotropic filtering setting if you go into nvidia setting, Manage 3D settings and set that option to off this will stop that red tint from showing up

Does anyone else not like how loom's AI works? For single player (and just 1 loom) she is fine. She's supposed to know where you are and can be dangerous. But why when you're playing Duo's, trios or squads, with more than 1 loom (3), she only targets 1 teamate? It makes the game from being fun in multiplayer to a "babysitting simulator" (for multiple 80-year-old women)

I know it's strange for a creature that deals 10 damage per hit to be considered a tier 3 enemy, but you have to consider that when she is swinging her sword and you have an item in front of her like a weapon, it will be thrown away which is a reaper's strength, also she has really quick attack rate so even with 10 damage per hit you'd still die in about 2 seconds

theres not really many "quiet" enemies that can reliably kill from what i remember. Robe and huntsman are the only two quiet ones that come to me

one of my friends bought it for me

i played for an hour and I thought it was pretty fun

However, playing with my friends is sort of rare because of conflicting schedules and what not, so is this game still as fun solo?

Because imagine seeing the head man on one side of the room, so you and your friend pickup this BEHEMOTH of a rifle, aim it correctly and shoot it. The bullet travels, hits the head man and causes him to basically cease to exist, then you go flying back so far you hit the wall with 20 damage taken and your friend is staring in shock
