idk exactly how it works but he can definitely find you if your in crouch mode.

His proximity sense is small. He can’t hear you if you move while crouched under something, talking or grabbing him will let him know your there, but moving while crouching doesn’t make noise

Hence why you can crouch away from monsters like the huntsman if you crouch walk as long as your not to close

Actually yes. That's how I test multiplayer mods when creating them. I setup my own Photon account and open multiple clients to test stuff so I don't flood the games Photon servers in-case of a mass amount of errors.

However, there is a mod that does this for connecting with friends also on the Thunderstore. But you will still need your own Photon account. Is free, but has limits when free.

How to enable mods ? I got the thunderstorm manager but when I started modded, no mods are enabled ??

You download them through the mod manager. When you hit modded a black console appears alongside the game. It loads the mods. Enemies, levels and valuables are all RNG unless you have soemthing like Enemy Valuable and Spawn manager to control what spawns in/loads.

It adds a button on the main menu btw.

For all other mods you read the description for what the mod does. That's it really, we can't guess what you have installed.

There is an unofficial REPO modding server that is best served for more in depth answers though. If you need more help, join and I will continue convo there.

Honestly just enjoy the game, The game teaches you as you go get to know all the upgrades and items and pick up the ones you like .

Strength in solo is pretty much the gold standard can help you deal with both enemies and heavy items.
Weapons can be a fun alternative if you don't want to strength spam pretty much all the weapons are viable but a few of them are mainly for utility (Prod zap, Bolt zap, Pulse gun.)

all these "obervations" should be taken by community manager and put forward to devs. This game has the worst matchmaking / server listings i have ever encountered.

Yup, once a experienced it it took a bit to share my link and go through that trouble, but still have randoms join just to scream in VC.

NO ability to set game join preferences. Like, must have VC, or to disable TTS completely.

That all being said, I had a great game with a person from Switzerland last night. Something I havnt gotten in any other games since..or before
