I have an issue with my game between my friends and I that I would like to discuss. they have infinite loading screens between levels. we use a laundry list of mods but we never had any issues until last night. I am unable to identify the root cause in the console.

thats what im saying! most lethal monsters are roadblocks and you cant fight them! the bird is basically unkillable, the eggs arent worth enough to be worth risking your life, and its not exactly a creative design

I think repo can do a good job at barley balancing combat

Like it feels Awesome to be given a chance to actually defend yourself and be armed

Even with a simple frying pan you can do something

I actually found out you can stun quite a few creatures with the pan so it’s good self defense

Shotgun is free kill

Pulse pistol is fun for watching enemies get bounced around fast

And if all else fails you can just use tumble launch

and most monsters insta kill or are invincible

you need to be pretty damn good just to kill a loot bug, and they spawn in groups so its still unlikely

For a LV3 monster it can only destroy to your stuff at most, and you can duck or hide to avoid its giant laser

But I guess most monsters are far worse when combined with others which tends to happen

I think there’s an entire system on getting jumped by monsters to still pose a challange even when you’re a few weapons and upgrades in

Still I’m thankful that the most damage a monster can do is 100 and most of them have wind up or mechanics, other than the trudges-direct slam

The scrap (repo calls them valuables) are more interactive and fun to transport
The enemies are more interactive, and can be challenged with weapons and player attacks
The maps are far far far more artisitc and well designed, most lethal rooms are relatively bland and there is only 10-15, but each map as at least 30 and at most 60!
The artstyle is fantastic and there is basically nothing that isnt quality and well made
And finally, the devs are far more open and interactive with fans

The thing about 3 inventory slots is that it’s perfect, not too much for it to be easy but not too little for it to be frustrating

Like you can have a weapon, health pack, and maybe a drone or grenade, but having all of that is op

And not only that you can have 3 drones and a weapon, so you can have feather+indestructible+recharge drone for your shotgun or handgun

Does anyone have tips for repo? Me and my friend always do private games so it’s just the two of us but we can consistently get to level 6 before we get absolutely clapped by a clown or robe. What are some strategy’s to get farther such as what upgrades to buy, how to deal with monsters, and in general not dying.
