The Blue Shield is the the remnants of the once feared NanoTrasen. Consisting of NanoTrasen elitists and those whose contracts are still in place. Due their previous fall in the corporate wars, they've changed tactics. Now they act as a last resort for those on dying planets, giving them a ship and bare essentials in exchange for life-long labor.
The Blue Shield rarely engages in combat, as they have already fell once, and are on the edge of falling again, preferring to salvage the remains of their stations and planets. Taking their earnings from salvaging and throwing them into R&D in hopes of being able to reclaim their spot within the sector.
The Blue Shield lacks any form of centralized government, instead using holo-calls, shady-meet ups, and ships to conduct their business.
