it's better than people just taking platelets every round
it would take people like 10 min to kill a carp so most people would probably not use it
I would use it...
And it's mainly just for convenience sake I don't want to spend 10 minutes every single round killing a carp
I don't care if I have to use all of the positive points for it

cause liquor lifeline is pretty damn useless
dermal armor even more so

There's also quite a few traits that do more than space lungs

You already can get faction tier equipment as a Merc in your loadout, what's so bad in also being able to ignore air too

the downside of carp lungs trait can literally just be "you could have stacked something else and got them mid shift super easily"

lung surgery is babycakes to do to yourself and not even dangerous if you have regular old dexalin to delay the suffocation
Or you could commit the capital crime of roleplaying with other people and go to MD to be sure that you don't mess it up yourself
it would take ages to asphyxiate anyhow

Well just go get a coat instead of getting temperature resistant
Go get chemicals if you want to heal passively
Just get armor if you want something like dermal armor
Do a tiny bit of research for S.P.E.E.D legs
Traits are pretty much only supplementary during the start of the round
The downside is that you use trait points for it
instead of platelets or speed legs
Also alcoholism should be buffed.....
If having the base version of the lungs is so unbelievably overpowered fine
Just make the person with the lungs breathe incredibly incredibly slowly so they can stay out in space for a long time while still having to head back inside

EMP vulnerable lungs, stuncrit on EMP to simulate getting the wind knocked outta you
also i stopped using bionic limbs, because TSF have emp, and getting emp'd then dropping your gun / not being able to move for 3 minutes is DETRIMENTAL to a raid
I don't understand the fascination with having even more reasons to carry emps around you
It's a nasty meta with a nasty dependency
