SS14 Username (original UserID if you've changed your name): NoSugarPlumNovember

In-game character names: Nigel Sugar, Nigelokewordo

Age: ** 22 **

Have you ever been banned from Monolith? If so, why?

No

Do you have any active negative notes? If so, what for?

No

Have you been whitelisted on any other servers?

Not that I can remember

Why do you want to be whitelisted and do you understand that being whitelisted opens it up for numerous roles?

I want to be whitelisted to play roles I find interesting. I also like the idea of playing as a Colonel that has emotions & a mindset other than "KILL ROGUE . KILL USSP ." (Not saying all Colonels are like that, of course ;)). Yes, I understand this gives me many roles, and not just the ones I'll main.

What is your most anticipated role, pending a whitelist?

TSFMC Colonel

Regarding when playing a Militaristic Command Role; How would you deal with a fellow soldier that is not receptive to your official orders? And if they escalate to harming fellow troops?

In my opinion, not punishing a soldier who isn't following orders can only lead to more problems with the soldier and his allies too. It really depends on the severity of the order he disobeys.

If he were to disobey an order that is a low priority, like go scan an old syndicate cache:
I would warn him that disobeying my orders further would only lead to punishments. I would do this twice, if he disobeys 3 low priority orders, I would order his arrest in TSF comms & announce he has a warrant.

If he were to disobey an order that is more of a medium priority, like "Go patrol the NFZ, port striking is in ten minutes" or "Kind of urgent, can I get a Sentinel to the UIV?"
I would once again, warn him. If he was warned once, for either a medium or low priority offense, I would order his arrest PRIVATELY, no saying "ARREST HIM!" on comms. I would communicate secretly in-person with other TSF marines.

If he were to disobey an order that is a high priority, like "GET TO FOB NOW! IT'S BEING ATTACKED!" or "Get to Sentinel TSF-039, it's being attacked!"
I would order their arrest after the crisis/high priority situation is dealt with & announce their warrant. Playing with lives like that gets you jail.

If during their arrest, or before I order their arrest, they start harming troops:
Announce the KoS order.

Regarding when dealing with a Militaristic Command Role; How would you deal with your Commanding Officer giving out bad orders, and refuses to actively participate in authority and leadership roleplay?

Humiliating your Commanding Officer on open comms is something you should avoid at all costs. This also includes arguing.

With that said, I would try to contact the CO in-person, either going to the FOB & meeting them inside their office, or asking to board their shuttle for a discussion about recent orders. Given the context "refuses to . . . roleplay" I assume the CO will deny this/ignore me. I would attempt to gather a squad and mutiny.

I would also admin help the CO before the mutiny.

When playing as an ADS Core/Manipulator you understand that while you're an antagonistic ghost role, you are not to immediately wipe out any non-mil vessels on sight, as well as give IFFless vessels plenty of opportunity to respond appropriately and identify itself.
