I'm thinking something that would have the same charge interaction as an APC, but with a smaller residual charge, so you don't have to rely on something that's basically a circuit breaker to keep active. Maybe only have it charge a portion of the battery at a time instead of the whole thing

Doesn't even need to be mapped in, could just be built as needed wherever a player needs it
My reasoning is that often there are places where it would be really inconvenient to install an APC, such as places with no MV wiring nearby, and a lot of decals that would be ruined by tearing up the floor
So why not give us a way to use the wiring that's already there?

So the example situation I have is at the MD bar, I enjoy bartending, but the nearest APC is across the hall from the bar, and when I'm having a conversation with a customer, it's a bit unprofessional to go all the way across the hall to recharge
