Which leads us back to the discussion this was originally instead of what it has now spiralled to, being calling people out on skill issues. Which, a solution being technically possible doesnt make it automatically a reasonable expectation of everyones abilities
if we simply make tsfmc gear better to the point that rogues can still win, technically, through superior ability, that will be fine
on an equal playing field assuming equal skill levels of both sides TSFMC should win
every time
ideally rogues would warp in, deal damage, warp out to regroup and plan another attack
Like we should be clearly defining what we want the TSFMC to be and what we want the Rogues to be, and balancing both of their ships and gear around that
they shouldn't be getting into long lasting battles with tsfmc
their ships should not have that much durability
they should have high first strike damage potential
but crumble at return fire fairly quickly
And instead they have europa's which you kinda cant touch as TSFMC without well-placed mass-driver shots from a ship that is MUCH more likely to shoot itself with that massdriver then it is to actually send the shot out.
with TSFMC ships instead having balanced firepower and durability
rogue ships should ideally be able to withstand civilian grade weaponry like the 20mm without problem, but start having issues with higher calibers starting with 90mm
Like idk if its just me, but when fighting those bigger rogue ships, my shields seem to melt instantly, my weapons get taken out SECONDS after, while Ive done a grand total of minor paint scratches to the enemy
but in return having way stronger weapons
btw shields are so shitcoded most of the time projectiles don't get deleted fast enough to protect your ship
so you still get hit

The Rogue HF blade damage is getting buffed along with most melee weapons, but if you have the marine one at 45 fucking percent reflect it becomes "Have melee or kill youself when you shoot him"

You didn't take into account the roughly 80 dps you're reflecting back into yourself when you shoot at a katana wielder, so you do die in 3 hits + all the reflect
