This shader gives the animated hand drawn effect that Human Torch has surrounding his body. While not 100% accurate, I have found this to be pretty sufficient.

  1. The very first you'll need to do before downloading the attached blend, is to open RivalsPorting and download the texture file located in Marvel/Content/Marvel/VFX/Textures/Common/Fire/T_Fire_6_301_FP_M.uasset

  2. Then you can go ahead and open the attached blend file. It should default you to the material editor, prompting you to insert the texture into the empty texture node. Once that's done, the material should be ready for use.

  3. These are a list of the meshes I used in the preview images above, as well as the directory they're located in. They're static meshes, so they'll export into Blender quickly.
    Marvel/Content/Marvel/VFX/Meshes/Characters/1017/
    SM_1017_Clavicle_4_001
    SM_1017_Lowerarm_R_4_005
    SM_1017Thigh_4_001 - thigh
    SM_1017_Calf_R_4_001
    SM_1017Hair_4_001

  4. Add the material to those meshes and they should produce the same results as presented in the preview image.

I will post additional images below to demonstrate I personally set up the meshes

Feel free to modifiy the material as you see fit. I wish I were able to recreate the VFX more faithfully, but I hope most of your find this useful
