bro loved ur stuff so much he pinged everyone
@remote rapids is the 3d cycles or eevee?
Cycles
Hahaha
i mean ik it has good stylization but ehh
Yeah i prefer cycles everytime tbh
yeah thats what i was thinking
ngl ima need to know ur lighting setup
i dont use blender but still can learn smthn
like this is kinda my idea for lighting rn
but idk
it feels flat
So i use sky texture i make the sun pretty low elevation, size 0. I have 1 or 2 spotlights with colour that's it. Simple shit haha
You just need a harsher sunlight I think?
You're fine man 💪
im so lost why were we all pinged here?
He did it for no reason
This is good lighting by itself
But if you're feeling that then the solution is out of whatever lighting setup you're using. Increase the intensity of one of them.
You'll get a bit more harsh shadows and highlights. Work around that
yeah i mean im just messing around with how lighting works in blender rn
imported some basic stuff to play around with
i mean it works

Environment scenes like this can also benefit from volumetrics and subtle depth of field. Makes the scene more believable
yeah im assuming volumetrics are done with a just a big cube lol
thats what i do
Ye most cases it is just that lol
With some occasional noise or other nodes plugged in to randomise it a bit
For example this asset that you're using mostly just looks like it has some base color and normal maps that's it. no roughness maps or stuff like that so it makes materials look flat no matter how good or bad the lighting is
yeah its just all ported from my c4d scene
which has a lot more to it but its also commercial so
Are u special
EEVEE can get that look really easily
