||even as playable they have different aspects too; Noir can't hover, only double jump (pretty high mind you, but still)||

||actually it looks a lot better going off of at the pre-rendered cutscenes for it. The cameo render from City Trial feels like it was put into a fish lens perspective||

||no joke, the eyes are extremely scary and scarier than any of the horror movie. They did such a good job making Nova very freaky||

||especially how the eyes are just half closed and stared at you, and looks like the sclera is darker than the pupil making it extra uncanny||

||god i hated the whole spider looking robots destroying Zorah in the cutscene. That actually made me almost throw up from arachnophobia and just extremely disturbing in general with the full context. Reminds me of Wreck it Ralph||

the real test is being able to hit just the thrusters and core, the rest of the health doesnt really matter

you do need to destroy all weak points to actually beat it unfortunately, so a stray leg with 1 weakpoint active can time out the match if ppl forgot about it

I think the problem was that ||while Marx and Meta Knight were able to have their own wishes granted by being able to talk to Nova directly, Zorah only had their wish broadcasted by the Fountain of Dreams to reach Nova rather than speaking to them. I assume Nova was extremely flawed to the point that they greatly misinterpreted Zorah’s for freedom lol||

||Theres a few things about Nova in Air Riders that bugs me. If we are to stick with the read of Nova as a malicious machine out for the destruction of Popstar, then lots of plot holes begin to pop up and makes me doubt he actively wants to destroy Popstar for malicious reasons, and it comes down to 3 things

1. If he so badly wanted to destroy it, why didn’t he just do it himself? We see him attacking a distant planet no problem seemingly without the necessity for a wish. The events in Air Riders seem too stupidly elaborate to be deliberate if he can just do so without any need for prompting since he’s basically a living orbital strike cannon. And even if it was deliberate, the oversight of Zorah’s will being able to roam freely without the need of a vessel and eventually being the cause for his destruction without any kind of resistance just makes Nova to be a complete idiot

2. Why did he leave in the bad ending and not finish the job? He could’ve easily been like “fine I’ll do it myself” and shoot down the surface of Popstar but decides to dip instead, which leads me to believe that the destruction of Popstar wasn’t his intent nor the end goal, but the ultimate fulfillment of the wish itself. Or maybe he’s just a pussy? (Which would be ironic since he has a cat face lol)

3. Why didn’t he retaliate when Gigantes beamed a road on him, or when Zorah was trying to thwart his plans? He could’ve either shot the road or the rider down on his own no problem (tho likely to no avail). You could argue that all the bosses we encountered before reaching his core is him warping them in as a last ditch defense, but I simply think that was just gameplay shenanigans rather than it being “canonical” to the actual events in the story. Also, he’s always watching Popstar, I feel like bro would be aware of what’s going on, especially Zorah trying to thwart is plans and would try to retaliate against him, and yet bro does jackshit. If he really cared about the destruction of Popstar, he would’ve done something to stop Zorah like sending drones after him or something, but he just sits there like he just doesn’t care. If it really was all deliberate, then bro is extremely short sided for a machine and has zero survival instincts lmaoo||
