||Well I like Star Crossed World and ZEX, but yeah, it definitely feels like a lower budget project, which is weird considering this is the first mainline paid DLC Expansion in the series. Even the Ending Cutscene for SCW feels lower budget compared to Isolated Isles' Ending Cutscene. ||

Here's the thing about UCZ EX... ||The patterns change, but are they any more difficult for all the returning bosses as they would be in UCZ? Only Chaos Elfilis actually has attack alterations, far as I'm aware. Not sure on Phantom Meta Knight but it feels like none of the attacks were modified heavily up until Lord of Chaos||

||Morpho in ZEX is definitely more difficult compared to UCZ||

||Also Gorimondo is a big threat in ZEX I feel||

||The way I see it, it was an opportunity to make a new version of the secret final boss, and they mostly just remixed they other bosses. A lot seem to start off doing the attacks they only seem to do at the anger point in UCZ, at least

But, some of them do have new variations on attacks, even if they're not always necessarily harder. Morpho has a lot of new stuff going on. Phantom MK at least has him summoning a bunch more of himself for the upper caliber, even if you can still just fly over it. In the Leon fight, forgo shoots a lot more energy balls, often like three at a time, when in UCZ it was usually only one. Stuff like that.||

Looking at multiple playthroughs, the boss having small variations is good, most Kirby bosses have a script and always sticking to it always feels bad to me, because people can clear the boss fast enough that they will not see some cool attacks. Most notably people using Space Ranger stalled Forgo Leon long enough you will never see Fecto Forgo's soul using Soul Crash or shoot shockwave bullets
