My interpretation of this species role they're kinda like the destroyers from dragon ball supers or Gro-goroth from fear and hunger. Destroying as a universal balance (even if it's seems evil to those it's destroying).

The name It's using imported English katakana so "Jeneru Mephilis" or likely Melfilis (not fucking Meteonelfilis)

The more interesting thing is the word ジェネル (Jeneru), which isn't really a word. If it was General (like military), it be something like ジェネラル (Jeneraru), the more common likely translation.

It does have a heavy crystal them so Jewel Melfilis could work but Jewel is usually write as ジェネル (Jueru). Key thing is that ジェネル・メフィリス (Jeneru Mefirisu) distinctly uses an "n" sound so I'm choking it up to a slight mistake (Jeneru when it should be Jeneraru) or maybe it's just a stylized choice which would as work.

But assuming "General Melfilis" is correct like military general kinda general. That has some very strong... Implication of the culture of this invasive species
