I had a feeling there were some moments thaf were like "how are you only just now finding this easy information out about each other or how are you just now reacting to this if you've known each other for years and interact with them every day?".

Im fine with stuff like kinger or even coping machanisms since that's a thing that'd take active effort to pry from someone, it's moreso the "how did this never come up" tier stuff being brought up with no resistance. So a lot of the problem is the show showing that the characters hang out on the couch regularly, and then has them do things like the bar scene with no signs of hesitancy that have no reason to have not happened on the couch years ago and had nothing to do with pomni, and just generally have things get better in contexts pomni had nothing to do with/gangle only really interacting with pomni twice and zooble outright never having a significant interaction with pomni - the best case scenario is that you could argue maybe that changed offscreen.
Ultimately I think it's really just the fact that they established that they chat on the couch almost every time we see downtime lol, said conversations yield information, and aren't hermits who stay in their rooms all day, all being simultaneously true that makes it more notable. It almost feels imo their asociality seems to mostly apply to their backstories but in the main show they're just suddenly more open like a switch regardless if pomni actually did anything in this context lol
