you happened to get the wrong time where the rainbow group from KAR online were hopping on ranked after a paddock session

nebula in particular is one of the stronger players there

impossible to win against on a couple maps and you still have to work hard even on tracks like amberfalls

It's been a while since I played, I still have some City Trial achievements left most of which I think are very hard

Some stuff like destroy 2 huge pillars are much harder than in the original game when a CPU almost always gets them before you do and when I tried with no CPUs it took the whole event to destroy even 1

I've decided to give a few combo suggestions for the event each day, so here are today's:
Waddle Formula - High speed, but bad at turning, so not good on corners.
Cappy Rocket - Powerful charges, but needs quite a long time to charge (even with Cappy), so it's best to use corners to get your speed back.
Magolor Turbo - fast when star sliding, and good at controlling, but doesn't keep much speed when not turning.

These are only combinations I think are good, and just my opinion on what I think is good.

Cappy tank - fast with powerful charges and turning, as well as being able to bounce off walls, makes this very good when turning corners, but not the greatest for straight areas.
Magolor bull tank - fast and keeps the speed from charges for a long time, so its good to charge on corners to keep the boost for a long time. Also can get a lot of speed from star slides.

so like, if you lose the race against noir dedede in the regular ending of road trip, there's some weird effects that happen before gigantes explodes and the game says "fuck you! try again"

but this kinda seems like it's almost the road from journey's end being created, right? cause i never really noticed that before cause i don't think i've rewatched this cutscene since getting the true ending

i still think this is definitely caused by noir dedede returning to zorah's core, but i really wish that was actually made a bit more clear

and maybe the reason it then explodes is cause gigantes didn't have enough willpower yet or something? which is why it does work correctly in the true ending?

the distinction between the noir dedede race endings is still really weird though
if you lose, gigantes gets destroyed and noir dedede dies
if you win, gigantes gets destroyed and noir dedede dies
