I also have a wild prediction that at the end of the main mode in Star-Crossed World, Kirby will have a new mouthful mode called “Twinkle Popstar” (a play on Kirby’s original name Twinkle Popo) in which he consumes his entire planet with the help of Elfilin and the saved Starries’ and their powers to defeat Starry Knight

He crashes and whirs right through Starry Knight in its second phase Colossus Form which is a planetary-size titan

How Starry Knight was able to obtain so much power was that it manipulated the energy of the Starries to its own will to free it from its crystal seal once more for a huge battle against opposing forces

Once Starry Knight is defeated, the Starries are released from control and return back to the cosmos where they reign to protect and watch over evil forces or cataclysmic events that may linger in space, as it is their duty

Personally, I don't think galacta knight is going to have much a role other than arena boss, else we would've seen signs of it, guy isn't exactly subtle, and it's a big unprecedented assumption that gk will be related to the game's gimmick when that's completely unprecedented

I also doubt elfilis is getting a new form due to story difficulties (but who knows), the fact they already have a post-soul form and I doubt they're going to supersede that in 1 game, and the fact that chaos elfilis was already elfilis' thematic peak there's not really anything a crystal elfilis that isn't superfluous or "elfilis attack no. 5 but now it's randomly cystal themed"

And as for just allowing switch 2 editions to be on switch 1 but run terribly they'd rather go for the narrative of 'this is impossible without switch 2' than 'this is possible if its really shit'

like after SA they have been good at keeping the performance consistent even in FL which only really hiccups one to two frames occasionally

I think the fact SA went from a 30fps with bad frame paced slog to RTDLDX which arguably looks better but actually runs at 60 shows they do make conceded efforts to allow their games to run well recently

theres just no way I think they would be okay switch SCW dropping frames constantly on switch 1 atp

and while its not a super strong showcase of then ew console at the end of the day it is basically a dlc expansion that just uses a lot more effects that couldnt be done on switch 1 without issues

i just dont think theres anyway this was locked to switch 2 for money alone

Goofy theory i had cause I was bored, Galacta Knight is an ally in this game, with you flying on his back to fight the boss. Because of funny time shenanigans between dimensions (the whole time dilation stuff, don't question it), it turns out Kirby, Bandana Waddle Dee, Elfilin, and Galacta Knight were the four heroes of yore, the meteor was a much earlier, pre-Hyness Jamba Heart, yada yada, post game SCW has you fighting GK in the True Ultimate Cup and sealing him away as he goes power-crazy.

You can do a multi hit combo, or charge while moving to aim for a ranged attack

Your slide is an attack, but if you jump you get extra height, attacking in short time results in a finisher

And if you charge while idle, you fly and drop spears! I think you can slam afterwards

The only caveat is that Bandee is a little weaker, his strength determined by what Kirby has on him
