Hey sorry for the late reply. Daroach can steal copy abilities automatically by approaching another rider. The only way this works is that you cannot have a copy ability active and the enemy needs to have a copy ability active.

I just set to 99 laps mountain and leave it on idle

If anything, one CPU level 9, set powerups to not spawn frequently, and keep stalking the CPU level 9 until you steal them
It usually takes me the longest out of any objective (during my speedrun it was taking up majority of the time from rng) but I finished that objective while getting water break
Hence even if top ride is shortest to achieve (averaging 3-5 hours to complete 150), Daroach and vampire Star and water pillar is the most annoying trio since sometimes it just doesn’t work lol

Meh, I just used the Swerve star and set the CPU’s to one, and I just trail behind them until they get an ability.

i've done slick and run 99 laps but daroach stole the ability in singular lap

you just gotta find the best solutions on each other's end, but personally, the easiest was the one I mentioned, could be different for you or others
