The only issue is Iā€™m pretty sure the reason they had spot as the villain for across/beyond is because they DIDNā€™T want to use one of the super popular spidey villains as the main antagonist

A: venom shows up with little screen time that still manages to do the character justice because its spider-verse
B: venom doesnā€™t show up and we get to focus on spot (which Iā€™d love to see more of)
